Dr. Biagio Palese (aka Dr. B) - Dr. B is at the forefront of information systems research and education. His expertise spans a diverse range of cutting-edge fields such as Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Systems Beyond Firms’ Control and Customer Service.

As a tidyverse certified instructor trainer with RStudio Education, Dr. B has led coding workshops worldwide, introducing students to the transformative power of R programming. His passion for teaching extends beyond the classroom, as he actively involves students in open-source software projects, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Dr. B’s commitment to education and technology outreach led him to found and co-host The Gateway podcast in 2021. This platform exposes students to emerging technology trends and topics, bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world applications. The podcast is widely accessible on all major podcasting platforms.

Drawing from his experiences working with diverse teams, Dr. B continually enriches both his academic pursuits and personal growth. His multifaceted approach to information systems and data analytics education is preparing the next generation of tech leaders for the challenges of tomorrow.

Rochna Trivedi (aka Rochna) - Rochna is a graduate researcher and student at Northern Illinois University currently pursuing an MS in Operations Management and Information Systems. With a professional background as a Data Analyst at HCL Technologies, she possesses over three years of experience in enterprise IT, specifically in identity management lifecycle optimization and process improvement. Her academic focus involves the integration of advanced technical frameworks, such as the AEGIS multi-agent system for autonomous database management, with practical business applications in SAP S/4HANA environments. Having earned a B.Tech. in Information Technology, Rochna leverages a strong foundation in computational logic and statistical methodology to facilitate student learning in complex systems and data-driven decision-making.
